TV Ratings: ‘The Voice’ vs. ‘The X Factor’: Who Got the Most Viewers?

Simon was miffed about NBC adding a third premiere date for The Voice during the same time slot as The X Factor premiere, and rightfully so. The new-and-improved (and Britney-fied) X Factor brought in an impressive 8.5 million viewers, but was edged out by a little over 2 million. 10.7 million viewers tuned into see Christina, Blake, Cee-Lo and Adam Levine swivel in the big red chairs rather than see BritBrit be (surprisingly?) critical.

Only time will tell which series will be more popular overall this season, but I do hope that there’s no more questionable last minute time-slot hopping (I admit, the Xtina fan in me is pleased).
