New Years

So many people are quick to say what a horrible year the last one was on this day. They make resolutions they won’t keep, say things they don’t mean – this insightful blogger summed things up nicely:

“Everyone treats New Years Eve like a rebirth, which is nice but thinking of the past year and all of its experiences, relationships, and motions like it’s your ex-boyfriend or ex-girlfriend ain’t right. 2010, you have been great; 2010, you are the reason why all of these people say 2011 will be better, because you’ve given all of us a year’s worth of time to create something more.”
