In an interview shot for ABC and partially aired on Good Morning America, Jon Gosselin told Primetime’s Chris Cuomo that Kate was verbally abusive toward him and that he “despise[s]” her.
Ouch. Like a lot of people, I feel bad for the kids in this situation. When they get older and have to use the net for something they’ll no doubt stumble across the drama that has unfolded between their parents, and neither one of them is much better than the other. I think it’d be wise of them to lay low and keep this whole thing private. Yes, they allow their lives to be documented almost constantly on their reality show, but that’s where it should end. At least in that setting what the public sees is somewhat controlled. And I do acknowledge that the Gosselins can’t control what People and US Weekly write, but they should control what they can. I personally have much more respects for celebrities who lay low (or at least keep private) amid a scandal than those who go blab to the nearest media outlet. For the most part, anyway.
