If you think you’ll be able to visit Michael Jackson’s tomb at the Forest Lawn Memorial Park, you won’t. Somewhere in the sprawling Great Mausoleum (it even goes underground, which I think is pretty cool…) is Jackson’s private tomb, but it will stay just that: private.
So if you want to pay your respects to pop’s King, you’ll have to do it otherwise. The Associated Press says a when a tourist asked a guard if the tomb was private, he said it was “forever.”
What a downer. Even though that’s actually more of a good thing than bad. In this case we won’t have to worry about an creepy crypt raiders trying to get a piece of pop history… or of the King of Pop himself.
